When teaching handwriting our focus is on enabling the children to develop a legible (neat and understandable) and fluent (quick, efficient and legible) style.

The way in which children are taught handwriting progresses as they move up through the year groups of the school. Each year group or phase is given particular targets upon which to focus to move the children on in their handwriting. Please click on the links below to find out more.
