Martins Wood Community Theatre

Martins Wood Community Theatre is an exciting and innovative musical theatre group born out of our 50th anniversary production of Oliver! at the Gordon Craig Theatre in 2018. The group is formed of parents/carers and other adults who have a strong connection to the school and children (past and present pupils). They share in the joy of learning, performing and genuinely having fun together. We don't know another group quite like it.

The group meet every week and have already put on a showcase featuring songs and movement they have been working on. Anyone with a past or present connection to the school is welcome to join and more information is available from the school.

How can you get involved in our next show?

It's not too late if you are very quick. The main characters have been cast. Rehearsals for children are well underway but if you would like to get involved in the adult chorus and you have a cionnection with Martins Wood simply come along to our next rehearsal. We meet on Tuesday nights from 7pm.

How can children get involved?

Children's rehearsals are under way so you are too late to perform in this show now but do come along and support us. Ticket details will be released in the coming week.
