Martins Wood Community Theatre

Martins Wood Community Theatre is an exciting and innovative musical theatre group born out of our 50th anniversary production of Oliver! at the Gordon Craig Theatre in 2018. The group is formed of parents/carers and other adults who have a strong connection to the school and children (past and present pupils). They share in the joy of learning, performing and genuinely having fun together. We don't know another group quite like it.

The group normally meet every week and have already put on a showcase featuring songs and movement they have been working on as well as the regional premiere of Nativity! The Musical, based on the popular Martin Freeman film. Anyone with a past or present connection to the school is welcome to join when rehearsals resume following the current Covid restrictions.

How can you get involved in our next show?

Come back to this page when Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed to find out details about our next production.

How can children get involved?

We try to choose performances that enable families to work together. All children attending Martins Wood or with a strong connection to a cast member may take part in our shows.
