Martins Wood Primary School is proud to be partnered with Him Rashmi High School, Kathmandu through the British Council Connecting Classrooms initiative.
The Covid 19 lockdown has made our "Connecting Classrooms" project much more difficult. We were expecting the teachers from Nepal to visit us in June 2020 but this will now happen some time in the future.
In the meantime we have set up a YouTube channel for us to share things between the schools in Stevenage and those in Nepal.
We are in the very early stages of developing this platform but you can take a look at how it is going by following this link.

We hope you enjoy looking at the work from Stevenage and Nepal.
Him Rashmi High School is a large school for children from the age of three to eighteen. Our partnership with Him Rashmi High School began in September 2019 along with twelve other schools in Stevenage who have been linked to schools in Nepal. Together we are working on the Global Goals for Sustainable Development with a particular focus on gender equality. We will be looking at gender equality issues in both countries and sharing our work in this field with each other.
