Martins Wood was last inspected by Ofsted on 14th & 15th November 2017, when we were judged to be GOOD in all areas:
Whilst we are delighted to have been judged Good across the board, we are now focussing our efforts on the road to Outstanding.
Our report, which highlights many strengths of our school as well as our priorities for the years ahead, can be read via the link below.
In December 2020 Ofsted came to the school as part of a programme of visits to research the impact of COVID-19 and school closures on education. This is known as an Interim Visit and during these Ofsted do not make judgements or produce reports. Instead the lead inspector wrote a letter to the school summarising the discussions they had with us and their main findings. You can read a copy below, or via the OFSTED website.
The link below is to the Ofsted website where it is possible to look at archived Ofsted reports and other information about the school.
Part of gathering information during any Ofsted inspection of the school is to consider feedback expressed through Parent View, Ofsted's online questionnaire. Parents are at liberty to complete Parent View whenever they wish and do not have to wait for an Ofsted inspection. However, if you have a concern that you need to bring to our attention, please be aware that this is a site for gathering feedback for Ofsted only and that you will not get a response.
